Hi,I am now slowly getting along with Gmax. At last.One question:I have now added the calibration box, from which I have detached the six sides as separate items. How do I toggle that item backdrop to disappear so that I can have a better and darker background to see better if I zoom in very close. And if possible how to toggle it back.

The way I know:1. Select the relevant parts.2. Right click in the current window - Hide SelectedYou can create a named selection set to select the objects very quickly.You can also Freeze them which will keep them from being selected accidentally, but they will be very dark.Perhaps others have better ways?Hope this helps,

You can prevent this by right clicking on the object (when it's not frozen yet), select properties and untick the "Show Frozen in Gray" option.

Now when frozen, the object remains visible as before but cannot be selected anymore until an Unfreeze is performed.
