March 1, 201214 yr Ok... so I decided to forget about Track IR for a while because it kept me from enjoying MS Flight. So today I approached the game with a differend mindset. Instead of just looking for things that might be wrong, I decided to do some challenges! Great!- Shoot. Can't do any challenges because my XP isn't high enough...?- Missions it is then. Let's land that Stearman.- Ha! Look at that! The loading screen says that to reach some aerocaches I will have to use a helicopter! So there will be helicopters for this game!- Oh my... that's harder then I thought... I need to use rudder and there is WIND! I always fly without wind in FSX... It may be called a mission but it IS a real challenge... and a fun one too!- Let's do the RV6 introduction. Hm, that's an old geezer who should clear his throat some more often.- Wow!!! Look at that shore!!! Awesome cliffs!!!- Yihaaaaaaaa, flying underneath the bridge and then following the canyon (or whatever). It looks good!!!- FOUND IT! Control-E moves you forward! That's more like it! I hated to zoom in! (Pity the setting is completely reset when you press backspace.)- I really love how the great looking trees blend in the groundtextures.- Those little white fair weather clouds are AWFUL but the other themes have some AWESOME looking clouds and skies!!!- Found a new view: cinematic view! You get it when cycling views with F7 or Shift-F7. May come in handy when I can't see the runway when flying the Stearman,- Now I know my way around the game a bit more, I have to say that RV looks great... Still twitchy.- Anyone else also have that heavy banding of the shadows all the time...? Doesn't look good at all.- Finished the RV6 introduction. Cool! I like those small airstrips that completetly blend in the surroundings! They aren't flat either!- It's great that you can go to the map and all options with M and back again within no time with M too. Love that!- Tried another Stearman landing... my goodness, I suck at flying...! MS Flight may force me to get rudder pedals after all these years of flying without them... Quite something for an arcade game, huh...? :wink:Well, after getting over the lack of Track IR I have to say... I like this game! It looks great, now I can move myself forward the VC looks better too, performance is awesome... and I am looking forward to the next load of DLC already! Can't wait! I think this is a keeper!!!The next thing I am going to do is to check out the Job screen: looks like a nice addition to the game. I never ever did missions or anything in FSX but in this game it really does add something. Edited March 1, 201214 yr by Guest
March 1, 201214 yr LOLOLOL :LMAO: I sucked so badly at some of those first Stearman landings in the rolling hills between the rows of trees in a wind storm that I lied to some friends about it.Kind regards,

March 1, 201214 yr the missions, jobs, challenges really make this fun.Flying is suppose to be Fun, and Flight for me is FUN!I agree. I never got into the FSX missions, but in this game I like it. It really add something to the overall experience. It's FUN indeed! I did a hamburger flight and I really loved it! I also like the idea the missions will be different every day: makes it all even more real. And fun!
March 1, 201214 yr The designers at MGS added some things that FS did not have: structure, motivation, and fun! It really is a lot of fun to fly and the different missions are presented in such a way that it is a pleasure to do them in sequence and progress through the "game". Those who really like to hand fly the airplane will love Flight.Best regards.Luis Hot, humid Caribbean paradise!
