Small install glitch for me with product key/Windows Live- solved

I successfully installed Flight, then launched it.Upon launching, I got the box to enter a valid product key - the boxes were blank. I tried clicking on just submit, and it said no valid product key, I tried just putting zeros in those boxes, it again said no valid product key.I searched the forum and found this site:http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/Product/Microsoft-Flight/66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d8044d5308d2Now, I already had a windows Live id, so that may have had something to do with it - because I signed on with my existing Live id ( which was my hotmail email addy, clicked on the " buy now free" icon, and completed the free purchase. It then brought me to a download screen, well since it was already downloaded and installed, I tried just launching Flight from my existing install.It then gave me a message, there was an update to Windows Live I needed to install first, I installed it - prompted me to close the game and restart, which I did, and now all is well, successfully signed in to Live and no more product key boxes.Thought I would share if anyone else runs across this issue... now to explore!
