REX HRESULT Error

Ever since i have i installed REX i have been getting the HRESULT error, and i could not a fix for it so i have reinstalled all of my addons and my FSX. My Game crashes alot because of the HRESULT error. I have heard this is a usual error in REX.

Please post the CTD infor from the Event Log so we can take a look.Note that HRESULT is not an error but rather a Win32 datya type used to hold error codes.Also please enable Windows Update to make sure you are have the latest MSVC and .NET Runtimes.Thanks!Cheers,- jahman.

You have a problem with the REX installation. As jahman indicated, you should make sure your Microsoft Visuals C++ Redistributables from 2005 to 2010 are up to date AND installed (look in the Add/Remove programs and run Windows update). He also recommends insuring Microsoft.net is up-to-date. These are two very, very important programs that manages memory and manages the installation of FSX and FSX addons. Since REX appears to be the problem, you should uninstall it (after doing the MSV/Microsoft.net updates) then reinstall it. Make sure any anti-virus program and UAC is disabled during the reinstallation. Check the REX website for any updates as I understand there's an update that fixes problems like this.Check the REX forum and support for any additional info on this installation problem.
