March 5, 201214 yr HiJust found something mainly of interest to flight simmers from Aus. It's a flight planner with all the VFR waypoints and most Aus airports in it. It's in Excel format but it seems to work well in Libreoffice. I haven't checked but it looks like it might be possible to be converted for use in another country. Would be a huge amount of work entering all the data though.Anyway here is the addresshttp://www.straightandleveldownunder.net/downloads.htmlLook for "Ausnav". There's more other interesting stuff there too.Regards
March 10, 201214 yr That is cool. I've been making a similar thing for the UK, using airports, radio navaids, and waypoints (it's intended for IFR not VFR use). But my version uses a scalable Mercator map, so bearings on the map match bearings in the sim. All using x/y charts in OpenOffice Calc.
