Took off without programming the FMC -- is there a way to program a destination while in midair? It seems like I can't input anything without putting a departure point first, but thats impossible while you're in flight.

You'd do it from the RTE page. In the air, RTE defaults to pg2, so you need to go up one page. I'd imagine you should still be able to enter a destination. I've never taken off without the FMC programmed, but of course you can fly without any FMC. It's a pain, but you can do it.
