March 22, 200422 yr does anyone know how to get rid of the click-to-close screen in the maule? thanks. vilk
March 22, 200422 yr The developers put that screen in to make sure there was enough time for the panel & gauges to stabilize before jumping in, so I figure they also made it difficult to erase it.I've reached the point where I don't really notice it and just consider it part of the start up.It's similar to Bill Lyon's Tiger moth. YOu will always start outside the cockpit with the side panels and engine cowling open. Now that's a bit of a hassle to sort before diving outta of control -- assuming ya switched to it in the arir ;)-------------------Racartronit means something, but I just can't remember what
March 22, 200422 yr From the "Maule User Manual.PDF":To continue to the panel itself, simply click on that check list. It was made in order to get all the popup windows to show in correct order.Jozef http://pluizig.ath.cx/signature.jpg
March 22, 200422 yr It is better to leave in for the above reasons, I removed it and WOW, it IS easier to just wait and click the screen, needless to say Its back in mine now...:) :-outta http://www.flightsimnetwork.com/dcforum/User_files/3e72a43942b48d2b.jpg There is a fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness".- unknown "My daddy gives me up, to fight for you"- a US Military Members Child
March 22, 200422 yr Sometimes it is better to NOT know what is going on under the covers :)-------------------Racartronit means something, but I just can't remember what
March 22, 200422 yr hmmmm... yeaaaaaaah... somehow the folks who made the four dozen other models in my aircraft folder got around this "requirement"... no worry, thanks for trying.latervilk
March 22, 200422 yr There are a couple though who require you to open the plane in the 2D mode or suffer the embarrassment of a CTD.And I have at least one that says, "Don't touch anything for some moments." I think it's one of the Eaglesoft birds.Oh well, we asked for all this sophisticated functionality so I guess we will have to muddle through the limitations of FS to enjoy them ;)-------------------Racartronit means something, but I just can't remember what
March 22, 200422 yr "hmmmm... yeaaaaaaah... somehow the folks who made the four dozen other models in my aircraft folder got around this "requirement"... no worry, thanks for trying."Well, that was a bit harsh wasn't it... :-hmmm If I get a plane for free that's up there with flight1 and fsd's finest efforts I shouldn't complain about a thing like that... Just my point of view though... rgrds fredrik

March 23, 200422 yr suspicious of all things "under the covers" and "better left in" i devoted two minutes to the problem myself. fixed, smooth and peachy. no clicking required, i can love my mole again. my apologies for wasting your time, gentlemen. cheers. vilkps. fredrik, even gods make mistakes. and we still find things to thank them for, don't we? ciao
March 23, 200422 yr Yeah, I guess so... Maybe I was a bit quick to jump the gun! :-) Glad you worked it out, for me it isn't really much of a problem!cheers!/fredrik
