What is the best MD-80 available for FS9? Right now I use the SGA MD-80 plane, is there anything better? It could be freeware or payware it don't matter.

Hi,the SGA is a VERY good model. I know only only other good one around which is payware (15$ basepack, 2 optional livery packs 5$ each) by VANS aircraft; I have the Version3 81/82/83 pack from them and find it more satisfying. More options like flexing wings, front stairs. Like the SGA, it is a model-only downloadable pack, You'll still have to find Yourself a decent soundpack and a good panel. I recommend the FIDG panel released as freeware some months ago, and JT-8D sounds for FS2K2/2K4 I've found as well at the avsim library. Hope it is back online soon. Vans now also offers a -87/-88 pack (15$ base, optional livery packs for -87 or -88 5$ each) and a MD with 4 liveries for 15$.
