March 24, 200422 yr I use FSUIPC (version 2.94) to combat the effects of joystick noise (on the throttle channel in particular) in FS2002. It works well, but I have not been able to discover how these changes can be made permament, so I have to redo it every time I restart the sim. Does anyone here know how to save the FSUIPC settings? I apologize if this has been discussed before, but my search technique failed to find anything. I'm probably missing something very obvious or just don't know enough about how FSUIPC works to avoid asking a stupid question!! Anyway, replies will be very much appreciated. ...Dave
March 24, 200422 yr Author The joystick settings in FSUIPC are stored in the FSUIPC.ini file. You can open this file with Notepad and review the settings. The settings shouldn't change unless you are opening FSUIPC and making changes through the menu system. It may be that your joystick itself is changing and not the FSUIPC.ini settings. You can lock your joystick settings in the FS2002.cfg by placing LOCKED=1 in each of the joystick sections. See FSUIPC documentation for adding the lock. Once you lock the FS2002.cfg joystick section, you cannot may changes in FS2002 until you set LOCKED=0 or remove the lock from the section.W.
