Chris Arrington - Westwind

Hi Chris! My name is Chris also, and I have a discovery flight ticket as a gift for Westwind. I would need the 172, I'm about 190 lbs. Is there anything special I should bring? Any specific time or day that is better for traffic and overall enjoyment. I'm looking forward to it, but wanted to wait until the storms and cold were gone :)Thanks,Chris

Generally nothing unless you are susceptible to motion sickness. I carry several motion sickness bags with me, mainly for passengers. I usually get queasy when the flight instructor demonstrates a maneuver, not when I am practicing the maneuver.Otherwise, a good headset, if the aircraft of choice has that capability. If it is going to be really hot outside, you might want to be a bottle of water.Relax and have fun!!!W. Sieffert

Hi Chris,If you will e-mail me at [email protected] , I'll give you my phone number, and we can set up a discovery flight for you. The mornings are usually a smoother ride now that its warming up. All you'll need to bring is a smile, because you're going to be using it! :)Also: This topic would have probably fit better into the Hangar Forum. It might end getting moved there. :)
