GoFlight Config Question

Featured Replies

Hello,I am running a testbed for my flight sim which includes a Project Magenta and Goflight combination. The system is working great (except for the inherent problems with the GF-TQ6 Throttle). Since I use a general sim that flys GA and Jet Aircraft, I do not use a cockpit. This requires me to reconfigure the Throttle setup when I switch from GA to big jets.Does anyone know where the Goflight config data is stored after it is setup. I'm looking for a way to save each setup and just replace it when I change "cockpit" configurations. I do the same thing already for the GoFlight MCP (by removing it from the Modules Folder of the FS). The Project Magenta MCP's do not work when the GoFlight MCP is on-line. I just replace it for the complete Goflight setup when the Project Magenta modules (MCP's) are off-line.Thanks in advance,Ron Sagelnear KCHS

Hi Ron,Couple of things here for you to try. When you set up your TQ6, did you copy the .cfg files that are included with the goflight software? You should have 4 of them in a folder called FS Device Configs. I found the best way is to copy the contents of the killjoy.cfg and follow the instructions. The information that you copy is placed in the devices.cfg which you will find in the root of your fs2004 (e:fs2004)You might also want to pop across to the goflight website http://www.goflightinc.com and ensure you have the lastest software. Also on the goflight website is a forum system similar to what we have here which deals with Goflight specifically. There are a number of people who use it and are all full of useful information that might enhance your goflight enjoyment.Hope this helps a littleRgdsAidihttp://www.vfr-flightcenter.com/avsim_sig.jpg
