Scenery Layer Question

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,I just purchased Ultimate TerrainX and then FScene for FSX. I already had GEX north America installed for a long time now. Last night I installed Ultimate TerrainX on top of GEX, then today I installed FSceneX on top of that. My questions is, do I need to adjust any of the scenery layers now? I noticed flying around KPHL that there are some tiles from FSceneX that don't blend too well with the other scenery, making me think maybe something is not properly layered. any suggestions that might help me? I am a long time user, but finally wanted to up things a bit, and this is slightly out of my knowledge area. Thanks for any input. Have a great night. :)Best, Jeff

Friendly bump....Any suggestions?

Scenery layers? No, UTX will take care of the scenery layering it requires.Your problem stems from the fact that you have installed two global texture replacement products and are seeing conflicts between the two. No "layering" will solve that problem. On install GEX would have made a backup of all the default textures it replaced. You could restore that backup and see if the problems go away, then reinstall either GEX or FScene. But using both will create issues, as you've seen.
