March 13, 201214 yr Did you just install a new aircraft, new scenery, or any other addon to FSX?Make sure you have the Microsoft Visuals C++ Redistributables from 2005, 2008, and 2010 installed (look in your Add/Remove Program). These programs are normally installed if required by an addon or FSX/Acceleration. Run Windows update to make sure you have the latest updates to each Microsoft Visual installed (they are constantly updated). What Operating System do you have? Is it 32 bit or 64 bit?Make sure you have the latest Microsoft.net Framework software installed. It is automatically installed with Windows 7 but previous OS's it wasn't. If it is installed, make sure you run Windows update as this program is constantly updated. When you installed FSX/Acceleration or any addon, did you disable UAC and any anti-virus program. These security programs sometimes do not allow required system registry entries to be made and that could cause a program to crash. Microsoft.net manages the installation of software and also manages memory for a software program. Microsoft Visuals have the same function so it is important that these programs are installed. You can also try a system restore to a period prior to when this error began and see if that fixes the problem. If so, you might have to reinstall some programs installed after the restore point. The fact that it only crashes when you select a commercial product indicates to me that the product was not installed properly. Hope this helps.Best regards,Jim
March 14, 201214 yr Author win 7 x64, latest .Net installed, fresh win7 install, fresh FSX sp1, sp2 install, UAC disabled as soon as I reloaded win7 :) AV set to ignore FSX dir. All the C++ are installed and up to date. I will try to reinstall the plane but it was just a copy and paste .rar file. Harry Gage
March 14, 201214 yr I will try to reinstall the plane but it was just a copy and paste .rar file. This aircraft may not be compatible with Windows 7 64 bit and/or FSX or something you have installed is not compatible. I did a Google search for Exception Code: c015000f and most of the discussions centered around incompatibility with Windows or the application (in your case FSX). They recommend the developer of the product incorporate certain fixes to ensure compatibility.Best regards,Jim
March 14, 201214 yr Author everything is the same as I had it before, except that it is all fresh lol. The plane is one that I have logged huundreds of hours in before I reinstalled everything (because of win errors) I will just keep trying stuff sooner or latter I will find the culprit. Harry Gage

July 17, 201213 yr Jim I have the same problem. How do I find the aircraft that is causing the problem? I have over a hundred on the SSD. regards andy
July 17, 201213 yr How do I find the aircraft that is causing the problem? I have over a hundred on the SSD. regards andy That would be easy. Look for an aircraft installed just before the crashes began. It doesn't necessarily have to be an incompatible aircraft but also incompatible scenery. NTDL.dll crashes are not necessarily caused by something incompatible with FSX or something not properly installed in FSX as occurred above. The ntdl.dll is connected to your system memory and hard drives and the crash could be caused by improper settings if your system is overclocked or overheating. There are a lot of possible issues. I strongly recommend you search the Internet via Google or Bing for 'ntdll.dll faulting module fsx'. You'll see several fellow flight simmers have had this error over the years. Some have fixed it and some have had to reinstall Windows and FSX. But I would look first at something you just recently installed or, if you modified your system settings or FSX settings perhaps those caused the crash. If you me to do more investigating for you, please start a new post providing system details and the event viewer log for the crash(es). Welcome Andy to the forums! Hope this helps. Best regards, Jim
