March 26, 200422 yr Has anyone had the problem with the airspeed indicator hanging at max speed even though the aircraft is actually going much slower??? I could be flying along normal (usually during a climb out or approach) and find the airspeed indicator going crazy on me. Seems it loses all functionality and gives a maxed out airspeed reading. The airspeed (IAS) feature of various autopilots depending on the plane I'm flying becomes useless and there FS2020 Alienware Aurora R11 10th Gen Intel Core i7 10700F - Windows 11 Home 32GB Ram NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super OC 16GB - Pimax Crystal Light VR
March 26, 200422 yr A couple of things to check...Confirm you have Indicated Airspeed checked in Aircraft realism. True airspeed is higher, and does not show your actual speed thru the air. Also, check that pitot heat (or deicing) is on...pitot ice can mess up airspeed indications in FS2004Good luck,Dave
