March 14, 201214 yr For me, it is Kauai. The most varied terrain. Wonderful canyons and waterfalls. Just really like the atmosphere of the place. But I keep going back to the Big Island because it has a really wonderful rendition of volcanic activity. Last trip I landed close to the thermal area and then walked to the edge of the crater and watched what was going on. Really impressive. So much reminded me of the thermal activity in Rotorua New Zealand which I have visited on numerous occasions. But there it is bubbling mud and geysers rather than lava.If MS can do for other areas of the world what they have done for Hawaii then we have a lot to look forward to.

Just really like the atmosphere of the place.I'm going to echo you on this - just recently started flying aroud Kauai - maybe a daily aerocache? It's fun to putt around in the Stearman, taking in the sites. A close second to me, though, is Oahu - having had the great pleasure of spending a lot of time there, and the military history of the area.I've started a "Free Flight Tour" in my limited time - starting on the west, flying in a clockwise direction on each Island to land at every airstrip, then heading east to the next Island. Usually only able to do one or two airstrips a sesson, so just save my free flight progress at that point.
March 14, 201214 yr I really enjoy the varied terrain of Kauai as well. But I recently started flying the Stearman around Oahu, and started recognizing roads and landmarks from another game, Test Drive Unlimited, so now I'm spending a lot of time there. Might do a "grand tour" of all the airstrips as well, that sounds like fun :).
