March 15, 201214 yr First of all, Happy Bithday AVSIM and thank you very much :-)I enjoyed reading that snapshot, clicking on the links and looking at how far things have progressed since then.One thing made me smile, an article with the sentence '.......as a FREEWARE alternative to the alarming proliferation of PAYWARE add-on's, which seem to be killing the hobby.' Killing the hobby :-) There always seems to be something that's killing the hobby, or heralding the end of simming as we know it. I believe a recent software release was clear proof of the end of all things FS within weeks :-)But here we are. Sure, some of our friends have departed, but the hobby still lives. As I sure it still will in some shape or form in another 15 years.Here's to it I say :( Gavin Barbara Over 10 years here and AVSIM is still my favourite FS site :-)
