January 24, 200323 yr some of you may find this odd, or maybe not. but i have always been interested in working with air traffic control, specifically in the tower. what does one have to do to get a job like this? is there any info out there on the web about this? or maybe there is someone here who works in this field and could help me out. thanks
January 24, 200323 yr All depends on where you are. In the USA, I believe the FAA (http://www.faa/gov) is responsible for all ATC functions so contacting them would be the obvious choice.Elsewhere, you could start with the national equivalent of the FAA or the nearest large airport. For Europe, http://www.eurocontrol.int is the pan-European ATC organisation. They likely have addresses for you.

January 25, 200323 yr Author Don't forget to look into an ARTCC as well as a tower. Email Doug in the Radar Contact forum. He is co-developer of Radar Contact and works forAir Traffic Control in the southers US. Don't tell him I sent you cause he doesn't know who I am.JimCYWG
