Question about jobs

Featured Replies

Hello,I was a Flight skeptic, but I'm trying to give it a fair shot. There are some things that I really like about Flight, such as the wind / cross-wind modelling and airport textures (no longer being able to see airport from 20 nm away as in FSX). But I have two questions:1. When doing jobs, is there a way to turn off the direction indicator / marker? Kind of defeats the purpose of having realistic airport visiblity from the distance.2. Can you exit Flight half way through a job and come back later to finish it? I tried this once, and it dumped me back in the same location but not within the actual job. Thanks in advance.Galen

You can manually disable the Destination Marker. See the thread at http://forum.avsim.n...__fromsearch__1Be sure to the read the whole thing, though. There are some less than desirable repercussions, as it becomes hard to figure out which runways to use (assuming you fly with the HUD off) and to find your parking spot at the destination. The best solution for that I've found would be to add a "range" setting for the Destination Marker so that we could have it pop up at 2 miles out, or something. That way we can navigate on our own but still be told where to go when we land. They've already got code in place to not show aerocaches until you get within a variable distance that could be adapted to this.In any case, please send feedback to [email protected] asking for players to have more control over when and how the Destination Marker is displayed.
