hello alli am debating on either getting a 40" TV for purely outside view or getting a projector such as Optoma GT720 with resolution

1,280 by 800, what shall i do, i do have flightsim in a smallish room but i wouldnt have problem using a short throw projector such has the one mentioned above, however what shall i do?
