Advances made on the 737NGX

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,I would just like to express my most sincere gratitude to the PMDG development team - you guys are wonderful! I have a core2duo E8800 3GHz dual core machine with 4 GB RAM and a GTX480 Nvidia Card. When I first bought the NGX, I battled with the 'plane on my machine as it was performing quite well, but as you did the take offs and landings, it would eat into your fps quite dramatically (my machine obviously!)After SP1 and the Performance Manager's introduction, I could set everything on low and get huge performance increases. Then came SP1b, and I could use the High Res Cockpit models, but still had to use the Low Res displays. Then came SP1c - now everything runs smoothly on High Res textures - i.e (for me anyway) consistently more than 30 fps at any given time - WOW!!!The advances that PMDG made in the development is obvious and quite simply staggering! I am SO looking forward to the 777!Then of course, I also had some sound issues after SP1c, which the support desk helped me to sort out in no time! The PMDG support team is quite simply put, unmatched for their quality of service!Again, thank you guys and keep up the wonderful work!Kind regardsWerner
