March 24, 201214 yr I have just started flying with VATSIM, but I'm having problems filing a flight plan. I use RouteFinder to get my flight plan, this is what I do:In departure I put EGFFIn destination I put EGLLI set the altitude to FL100And I get:EGFF (0.0nm) -SID-> ALVIN (29.5nm) -L9-> BADIM (35.9nm) -L9-> WOTAN (42.5nm) -L9-> MALBY (52.9nm) -L9-> SIREN (60.0nm) -L9-> MIMBI (66.9nm) -L9-> KENET (75.9nm) -STAR-> EGLL (113.2nmWhat do I have to do to put it into my flightplan.I use SquawkBox.
March 24, 201214 yr Simply open the Flight Plan page in Squawkbox and enter you departure aerodrome and destinartion aerodrome, in the appropriate boxes, along with your Flight Level, then in the route box, enter:-DCT ALVIN L9 KENET DCT(this assumes you're not using SIDs, even though RouteFinder suggested you would).Cheers.
