April 2, 200422 yr I have unzipped several aircraft in to my equipment folder but am unable to get them into the FS2002 file. example I have the Fanda Dash 8 but no panel. I have a huge file of two Stinson aircraft but unable to put them to use in Fs2002. There must be some trick to do this. secondly what is FS9 which is often referred to? Col.-Bogey
April 2, 200422 yr FS9 is FS2004 or Century of Flight.Regarding installing aircraft - I'm not sure what you mean by your "equipment file"..The best way to install aircraft into FS2002 or FS2004 is ......1: unzip the file into a folder( I always just make a "new folder" for the purpose).2: after unzipping , open the folder and view the "readme" file ( it may be called that or "installation "or whatever.3: If ( and this is rare) the aircraft comes with its own installer then follow the instructions after starting the installer.4: more usually the read me will tell you where to place the files contained in the "new Folder".The aircraft itself will go to FS2002/Aircraft/, there may be Gauges or effects files that will need to be placed in the correct folders of FS2002.5:when all this is done, start FS2002 and your new aircraft should be available in the "Select aircraft" list.Dave
April 2, 200422 yr Author I think the Fanda Panel works differently than default ones. When you use the self-install for the fanda, it creates some entires for the path to the aircraft. If you try to move or change the paths or folder names, the panel and aircraft can't find each other and causes problems. So don't try a manual install of the fanda.scott s..
