March 28, 201214 yr Hi, I currenly changed my cpu from aIntel Dual Core E2180 2.0ghz to a E6600 Wolfdale 3.06ghz LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor. First thing i notice is the BIOS says its a 12. something ghz...WOW, thats really fast, so I know thats not true. I also notice that my FS9 has less frames rates than my 2ghz CPU. I have an older mobo which is a ASRock 4CoreDual-SATA2 Mobo. Does it need a BOIS update for this? I should be getting better performance.Need some advise here, or if someone can show me step by step what I need to do.Thanks,BillHere is the CPUFromhttp://www.newegg.co...N82E16819116052Tohttp://www.newegg.co...ntent-_-text-_-Here is my mobohttp://www.asrock.co...4coredual-sata2my current BOIS version is 1.60Also noticed that my old CPU ran at 800MHz FSB and the new one runs 1066MHz FSB.
