April 4, 200422 yr Hi All,It surprised me last fall - but I was ready for it this time around. The time change between "Standard" and "Daylight-savings" causes Flight Simulator 9 to rebuild the scenery database. I still don't know why - but I'm pretty sure it's intentional. Since MS hasn't been kind enough to give us a "heads-up" - I just wanted to let everyone know that starting FS2004 will take a little bit longer when (and if) your computer switches over to the new time. Fortunately, I didn't notice any problems after it happened last year - so I'm assuming the rebuild is [email protected] Staff Reviewer
April 4, 200422 yr Thanks for the reminder! This morning I had downloaded and installed new water textures before starting FS9. When it was taking so long to load up, I thought "Uh oh!". But eventually it loaded up and all was well. Now I know what the problem was. Thanks again.Jim
