Arriving Airports Power Source

Featured Replies

Hello Bryan,Excellent product !Lately I have been practicing External Power / Air Starts etc.I was hoping to request (at a minor priority) if we could see an option on the Briefing Panel to allow us to select the intended Power Source at the Arrival Airport. If we require the Air Cart and GPU because the APU is not allowed on the ground, then we could select it whilst in the Briefing Panel instead of re-opening the Config panel for the same reason. From the manualUsing the GPU and External Air at the ARRIVAL Gate:

Many airports do not want you use to the APU. In those cases, you need to connect the GPU at the arrival gate.To do that, please do the following:
  1. Prior to landing, select EXT in the PWR/AIR SRC box as shown in the figure below, and choose the air source to be used: Air Start Cart (AS) or Air Conditioning (AC). ...........................

This would be great if it was achievable via the Briefing page as well since we are already there .Is this a feasible idea ?If its too much hard work, then not to worry, am happy with the way it is :)Thanks again for such an outstanding product !CheersAdam
