March 29, 201214 yr New official drivers for ATI users released yesterday, version 12.3. I've been using a preview version for a while, didn't notice any great improvement with my 6970. Notice in the Release notes though, that they mention "XPlane: Textures no longer exhibit flicker and corruption" which will be glad news to the new 7000 series owners of ATI'S cards. Here's the drivers:http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Pages/radeonaiw_vista64.aspxAnd the Release notes:http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/AMDCatalystSoftwareSuiteVersion123ReleaseNotes.aspxGlen Gigabyte z590 UD - i5 11600k 4.9 GHz - 64gb 3600 MHz ram - RTX 3070 ti - multiple ssd - 34" 3440x1440 100 Hz Curved - Saitek Yoke Pedals Throttle Quadrant x2 - TM T16000m x2 Throttle - Win 11 Pro
March 29, 201214 yr Commercial Member Confirmed. The new drivers fix texture issues with x-plane. My trees now blend with the scenery rather than looking like black cards. :-). No other performance boost though.
