American 737-800 textures

Featured Replies

I was wondering if I could use Edward Cox's textures that were from an AI American 737-800 textures that are in the library into the FFX 737-800 aircraft. Would there be major texture problems with the plane?I know there will be one in the future that was posted in the forum about a couple of weeks ago made specifically for the new 737-800 but I was just wondering if this would work for the meantime until that plane is released. Any info would be helpful. Thank You,

Im pretty sure it wont work without major surgery! :) The AI textures a probably mapped totallly differently than the FFX bird. Usually AI stuff has only one or two bitmaps as there is no interior and textures sizes are usually smaller than you find in the more detailed flyable releases. Hornit

Thank your for the responese. I guess I'll wait for that plane. Is that the Kittyhawk 737-800 painted in American Airlines awhile ago in the screenshot forum? I think it was painted by Edward Cox, extremely realistic paint on that bird.
