Editing Planes in aircraft.cfg files (trike)

Recommended Posts

Hi Dave,

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I'm also finding the same thing.

I've only had a couple of lessons, but unless I'm mistaken the trike I'm learing on also seems to descend at about 500ft per min at idle, and also maintains approx 60mph.

Even taking into account my limited experience and understanding the aircreation trike does indeed seem to a) slow down rapidly and b) drop like a stone.

I've even amended the cockpit to include a VSI so I can see and it is way over 1000ft per min drop.

I've tried the mod you mention above to the cfg file and reduced the pilot weight but it still doesn't appear to have made a huge difference. Do I leave both fuel tanks full, or reduce one or the other?

Or is this aircraft simply slower and quicker to descend than what I'm learning on?

Did you end up doing anything else with this? Or has anyone else made an mods to this aircraft to get around this?

Thanks
