Can no longer log-in :(

Featured Replies

EDIT: Fixed - just had to keep cancelling until got 'Log In with another account' button, use the correct account and get a new product key (which magically appeared out of nowhere)

Not having used Flight for a week or so, tried again tonight and

a, I can no longer log-in to Windows Live

b, I can not run the game without logging in.

I CAN log in to XBOX-live and to MSN from the same computer using the same credentials, but Flight will simply not play the game.

Almost certainly the problem is that I had to change the email address for my account, which was done through Microsoft's own pages and without problem, but Flight is insisting on the old name (which is invalid) and rejects all names.

I guess its cached - does anyone know how to clear out stored Flight credentials without reinstalling?

Thanks

Keith

Hi Keith.

The only thing i can suggest: (Not compromising your current installation)

Make a backup copy of user folders

C:Users<Your User Name>AppDataLocalMicrosoftFlight

C:Users<Your User Name>AppDataRoamingMicrosoftFlight

If you can't access LIVE HUD from within Flight, download and install the game Tinker, its free and from there disable automatic login.

Then on Flight try to do a manual login with your new credentials (eMail), see if that works, if it doesn't then try the bottom option

"Sign in with another account"

Good Luck

Ramón.
