Help Me Understand Steam as it Relates to Live and Flight

Featured Replies

I didn't want to start a new thread for this since there's already a few threads on Steam already. I have Flight already installed through GFWL. I'm curious if installing through Steam, since it's still tied to your GFWL account, the achievements will still add up even when launching through Steam? More for the stats, not so much the points. And it'll still access my friends list on my GFWL account?

Edit...

So I ran from Steam and uninstalled the GFWL version. Doesn't seem to be any change. And although I have the Adventure pack, and it works... seems that the Steam store doesn't recognize that it's already purchased.

Same here. It's ok that Steam doesn't recognize you have previously purchased dlc.

It's still there with stats and playable.

If you buy new dlc [Alaska} through Steam it will show up in Steam as purchased Dlc
