  1. I stopped Aerocaching for awhile until this gets sorted out
  2. +1^ This attempt at censorship is embarrising at best. I like Flight and will continue to follow it, a little more casually now until Alaska or something else comes up. Enthusism needs to be tempered with realsism. Can we be a little more evenhanded here please? Sorry dburne, you posted before I completed my post.
  3. This is a great plane. It has a vc and is useful in the game for a lot of jobs and missions. You will enjoy it. Harold
  4. I'm having a simular problem too
  5. Back on topic. I use all available Max graphic settings and never go below 30fps. My old Talon Attack 460 is factory o/c and is doing pretty good so far in Flight We will see how it holds up if the new content contains a heavier draw on it's capabilities. I'm waiting to see if Nvidia release a new mid range type card, sort of like a 660Ti maybe?
  6. What? I never said anything about anybody using a 32 bit system. Oh, now you see I have Vista64! I stand by my original and correct post. Windows 7[64] is NOT the only os that can enable max graphic settings in Flight. Alex's blanket statement saying that, as quoted, is incorrect and misleading as even you NOW acknowledge. Again I challenge anybody with basic reading skills to see where , "forgetful" Alec was correct in his statement and where I was wrong in mine. I understand the necessity for having a 64bit os to have max setting, that's a given. What was not correct is saying if your not running Windows 7x64 your not eligible for max settings. That is simply not true, Vista64 is "eligible" too Harold
  7. Look at my post I have Vista 64 bit operating system and I do have the maximum graphics options which I am using! \I dont' need to to enable the3gb switch My Asus P6T Deluxe can hold up to 24gb of ram and Vista 64 bit sees all of it. What part don't you understand? Alex stated clearly that "anyone not using Windows 7x64 is not eligible for Max settings in Flight" That is incorrect as anyone using Vista64 CAN use max settings in Flight Where am I wrong? Where is he right?
  8. I have Vista64, i-7 920@3360, 6gb Corsair 1600 Dominator ram and an MSI Talon Hawk460 gtx I have the same maximum graphic settings as everyone using "7" Your statement is inaccurate and misleading.
  9. This happened to me also. Most of my missions are locked and I will have to redo all of them again-if I want to. This is very annoying. I've reached level 20 and had 37 awards before the "update". After the update I have 20 awards. As with op I can't move on to some things without redoing others Statistics are very important or there wouldn't be any. Everybody rightly talks about flight characteristics, graphics gaemplay etc but if a game can't keep track of itself it is fatally flawed. It would be terrible if this game fails because of this. Don't underestimate how important this aspect of the game is. There already are many people who have put this game on hold or who have just walked away because of this. I know many people will rush to defend the devs and that's fine but just because you want to be tolerant doesn't make a flawed experience any better. I really hope this business with the Aerocaches and our above problems with career stats are rectified asap.
  10. No problem . Hope you got it going.
  11. right click on Microsoft Flight in your library of Steam games and you will see the purchased dlc code. copy and paste or type it in redeem code
  12. After you purchase dlc for Flight through Steam, launch Flight and click on the "redeem code" on Flight's main page. This will give you instuctions on how to get your Mustang or whatever you purchased. Very easy. Microsoft still controls the game and all the dlc's It's just like buying from Microsoft. I have purchased many dlc's through Steam for games on GFWL eg" Dirt2, Dirt3 and many more with no problems After purchasing on Steam click on the game in your library and look for the dlc code usually on the right side of the game page under dlc' Make sure you expand the window to show the entire code.
  13. Same here. It's ok that Steam doesn't recognize you have previously purchased dlc. It's still there with stats and playable. If you buy new dlc [Alaska} through Steam it will show up in Steam as purchased Dlc Harold
  14. In steam go to /library/Flight and then right click on it then click "delete local content" This will remove it from your hd. Of course install it first through MS if you still want to play it as AzureWX said
