How do I get rid of steam for Flight?

You'll need to install the regular version of the game (you can find that here). Then you can uninstall the Steam version. Make sure you install the alternate one before you uninstall the Steam version, that way your career and DLC is carried over.

In steam go to /library/Flight and then right click on it then click "delete local content"

This will remove it from your hd.

 

Of course install it first through MS if you still want to play it as AzureWX said
