At FL10 334KIAS sounds a bit fast even for the Lear air frame!

Not all addon aircraft are equipped with accurate AIR Files.......For instance - I spend a lot of time flying a Grumman Hawkeye which has a max speed 320kts, cruise at 258 kts with service cieling approx 28000ft.The aircraft - which was made for FS2002 but works well in FS9- always started the overspeed alarm at not much over 250 kts IAS (at any altitude 0 to 20000+) before I altered the AIR file to 300kts.I think the problem arises from the fact that some addons (tho not neccessarily this one)use AIR files that might have been written for another(similar) aircraft in much the same way as often a panel is aliased/borrowed from another aircraft.Dave

DavidI'm sorry to say I can only repeat what I said earlier, get AIRED, backup the AIR file then "cut and try" (think I said "suck it and see")... it's months since I did it so can't remember exactly what I altered but I do know it was fairly obvious once you opened the file. This is a different PC now and have never installed AIRED on it so can't give you any more help.Just backup the original and if you screw it up you'll still be OK.Dave
