AI aircraft .. LIGHT ON and OFF...when...?

Featured Replies

Hi guys,I don't know how to put it in my "Subject", but what I'm trying to ask is that, how long does fs9 TURN ON the AI aircraft light before its scheduled departure time and of cause with that; how long then the LIGHT will be OFF after docking at the gate?:( ...simple question....anyone kind enough to tell me....Thanks a lot in advance :) Kevin@WSSS

You might download and install the FS2004 Traffictoolbox_sdk.setup.exe. The traffic explorer will help you determine when the AI traffic becomes active.I noticed that the navigation light seem to stay on for a long time after the aircraft has gone to sleep but I never stayed to see if they eventually turn off.W. I don't know about when they turn ON prior to departure, but I have followed one AI aircraft after it lands and FS9 turns the lights off after it parks and shuts down the engines.

Hi Tom,Thanks.....We see the LIGHT on and off day and night.....and...how suprise that no one really study the timing...haha!Well, 15 min seems realistic, as pilots usually board half and hour before departure! :)

One thing that I've noticed is that if you have an AI aircraft that is not truely FS2004 compatible, its' lights will be on when yours are!
