VFR approach to a major airport in a Cessna. I'm cleared to land number one straight in. Nice steady approach at 70knots and then an airliner passes underneath me and lands! Then another jet following closely behind is given a go-around. Is this a normal failing of simulated ATC, or can I do something to stop it happening?Thanks

Not much you can do to stop it. The ATC does not model holds, so fast jets will always do this to you. The only option is to turn off collisions with other aircraft.
