FS Flight Keeper - ACARS and Network installation

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have been eyeballing this and have a couple of questions. I know it can use WideFS so my installation would be on a networked box. What I am confused about is the ACARS.

Can the Acars still be installed on the FSX machine with the main installation being on a network? I could not find an answer to this. I really want the ACARS device but did not want to install all the other features on the FSX box if that is what is required to also use the ACARS device.

Hi,

the ACARS Device requires a full installation of FSFK (for license validation and FS NAV database generation). But you can still run FSFK on a remote machine and connect it to the device running within FSX.

Hope this helps
