MODERATORS APOLOGIES FOR THREE ACCIDENTAL POSTS IN THE MS FSX SECTION, PLEASE DELETE THEM .

Running into problems here on my flight form Dublin to Madrid.

Accidentally entered EIDW into the arrivals instead of LEMD.

I can view alternate destinations in the FMC but I can't reroute to the destination I want

Also I can't enter any arrival information for LEMD but only EIDW the ICAO I entered on the ground

If anybody can help before I reach Madrid that would be wonderful.

Hi

In the init ref index page go to the Altn page and put in lemd. Then go to the rte page and one the keys will say Altn select that then select lemd.

I think, this is just going off memory :)

Your dead right Lee.

Just before your reply I gave my brother a call. And he got it solved. He's an FO on the 737.

Thanks a mill for the reply though.

No problem, glad you got it sorted :)

Just a final note to anybody finding this on google.

In order to get the arrival entries for your alternate destination. Ie ( ILS, VOR , VFR Approaches )

Hit the " RTE" Route page and then enter your alternate ICAO on the right hand side of the FMC.

You will now be able to select new arrival entries.
