April 17, 200422 yr Hi,The aircraft seems to be way too heavy in the nose.Tried changing the load stations inside FS9, then FS crashes when pressing Ok in the Fuel Payload Box.Ok, I could change it aircraft.cfg, but have no data for the stations, but the origin which seems wrong.Anyone else having the same problem?Lago LG Granson
April 17, 200422 yr I don't have that plane but my first thought and question, is it an FS2004 compatible model or not, or one that says for FS2002/2004? If not, I should think a few adjustments to the aircraft.cfg might fix it but it would be beyond me to guess what to adjust and what new settings to use.
April 17, 200422 yr Been away from my computer a couple of hours. It's only for FS2004.The strange thing is that, this is the only aircraft where FS crashes when making station changes in Fuel and Payload dialog. When I change the fuel settings I encounters no problem.I went through the aircraft.cfg and can't find anything that could produce this error.Lago LG Granson
April 17, 200422 yr I downloaded and installed it just to see for myself and sure enough exactly the same thing happens. I noticed that the aircraft is way over maximum weight but reducing all fuel tanks to 50% or so brings it within. The only thing I can think that might be causing the crash is the number of stations set at 60. The most I saw listed on any other plane was 50, although the line max_number_of_stations=60 would appear to be correct, I can't help thinking that there may be a limit on the numbers allowed. Perhaps you could try saving and renaming the cfg file and then modify it quickly by removing 10 stations to get it within 50 stations, change the max line = to 50 as well and give it a try. Meanwhile I'll look around and see if I can find anything useful to add but I don't think I will be able to spend too much time on it.
April 17, 200422 yr Hi,I checked that and it's the number of stations that causes the problem. Limit seems to 50.I will try to edit them by hand and a bit of trial and error.Thank'sLago LG Granson
April 17, 200422 yr Lago, glad you were able to fix it. I didn't find anything useful on google but the SDK's might reveal the real answer. That's a bit beyond me though as I do not have much spare time to learn.
April 20, 200422 yr Author I wonder if the weight causes the problem I'm having landing. Last night and tonight I would be right on the numbers, then right before touch down the plane would vier off to the right and I would end up on the grass. This happened at KLAX using Simflyers KLAX and tonight at KMCI landing 9. I didn't pay much attention last night, but tonight I was about 30ft above the rwy.JohnECS N2u400-A MotherboardNForce 2 biosAMD +2600 fsb 3331gig ddr pc3200 ram 2x512 sticks80gig Maxtor 7200rpm Hard driveAsylum FX5600 128mg ultra video cardNivida 56.56 driverSB Live value with latest driversWindows XP Home SP1 with all updatesbuilt in LAN with cable modemAcer 40x cd romKypermedia 8x DVD+r/RW John K
April 21, 200422 yr Author I think I found out the problem. I had put the reality full on encluding the G effect. When I took all back to easy it landed fine. I then put all to hard but left the g effect off and it landed fine. Something about the g effect really complicates things. John K
