April 16, 201214 yr It's been almost 2 years since I have installed the FSX SDK for creating missions. For some reason it is not working. I think part of it has to do with the path since I have a Windows 64 bit but I am also confused about the other items to be installed. I am reading the FS Developer wiki but it's not sinking in for seom reason. I have done this before and it took me awhile that time too. Any help appreciated. Do I have to install additional files from Microsoft? Here is the developer link I am reading but I am not understanding this go around about the other files to install! http://www.fsdeveloper.com/wiki/index.php?title=SDK_Installation_(FSX) And here is the info for the path to the tool! <?xml version="1.0" encoding="Windows-1252"?> <SimBase.Document Type="Launch" version="1,0"> <Descr>Launch</Descr> <Filename>dll.xml</Filename> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad> <Launch.Addon> <Name>Object Placement Tool </Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Path>..\Microsoft Flight Simulator X SDK\SDK\Mission Creation Kit\Object_Placement.dll</Path> </Launch.Addon> </SimBase.Document> My FSX files are in \Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X SDK\SDK\Mission Creation Kit\Object_Placement.dll I have tried entering that path and nothing works. Any ideas? Shouldn't I see the Tools menu if it works correctly when I go to Free Flight?
