GOFLIGHT MCP (AP) Question(s)

Featured Replies

Hello,I am a dedicated Goflight Equipment user. I am posting here to try to get a general user response to my problem - The Goflight forum is not as greatly "inhabited". I use a medium sized Goflight console along with my Project Magenta setup. I have already discovered that the Project Magenta MCP(s) cannot coexist with the Goflight MCP. When I use PM, I remove the GF MCP DLL from the Modules Folder of the FS2004.I am using the most current version of the GF software and FSUIPC (registered). My problem is this: I have noticed a growing number of "random" inputs to the GF MCP - especially Altitude "jumps" for no apparent reason. I guess that the newer sim A/C have far more complex logic and I do know that some do not run with GF MCP at all - like the PSS products and the newer CRJ. What I am wondering is if anyone has isolated the problem(s) and also if there is anything I can do (setup) to eliminate the spurious inputs that cause severe responses to my flights when I am not even lookiong at the MCP.Thanks in advance,Ron SagelNear KCHS

I too have seen this with a few super custom 3rd party aircraft. I think you're right in that it's caused by the developer going far outside the normal MSFS way of doing things in the search for new features. I don't think there's anything you can do about it on your end other then asking up front about Go Flight compatibility and letting these guys know that it's an important factor in determining who's work you're going to purchase.TonyDigital-Flight
