area.119. problem

Featured Replies

Hello,

After installing some new scenery I get a scenery.cfg message

"Invalid remote scenery pad in scenery Area 119."

I search all my scenery.cfg on the computer, area 119 doesnt exist and priority 119 is Edgar base.

If I delete it from the schenery.cfg. the message still appeares.

Even reinstalling FSX didn't help.

Anyone can help.

Thanks

Regards,

Eric

The only working scenery.cfg is located in your Program Data\Microsoft\FSX folder. There are also many backups of scenery.cfg for many as new addons are installed so it could get a little confusing. The scenery.cfg in your User folder (same folder as FSX.cfg) does not work but it should not be modified or deleted. That's the word I heard when FSX first came out in 2006.

Best regards,

Jim
