April 16, 201214 yr Well, I guess I'll ask here since I can't seem to raise anyone on the Steam Support site. I purchased the currently advertised Hawaii bundle that includes the Maule, the P51, and some other things, this morning. Nothing happened other than an email from Steam confirming the purchase. Nothing downloaded, the game doesn't show up in my Steam game library, and I have been unable to get a response from Steam on the issue. Can anyone shed some light on how I might either get my contant downloaded and working, or whom I might call for a refund? Of course, I can always do a chargeback on my credit card, but I had rather get the content downloaded and working, if possible. If anyone has had a similar experience with this and found a solution, I would really appreciate hearing what it was. Thanks! Dewey
April 16, 201214 yr Hello Dewey. I don't have steam, but other threads seem to address your isssue. jcomm http://forum.avsim.n...e/#entry2335568 Ok, i went through it a couple of days... Steam did reply but meanwhile I could find the solution with some excellent help from a few nice fellows at this forum... Here's what I did: 1) In case you have FLIGHT installed, there may be a way to solve it, but I decided to uninstall FLIGHT, then, logged in into Steam and downloaded/installed the Free FLIGHT platform. 2) When FLIGHT is installed from Steam, when you start it from your desktop icon or programms entry, Steam automatically takes care of the process and starts it for you, yet the GFW Platform will still be required... 3) If you bought any DLCs from Steam, then login into you Steam account, then, go to LIBRARY and you will see your FLIGHT install there. Clicking over it with your right mouse button will bring a popup window with the 25 character redemption code. Press Play from one of your acquired DLCs and FLIGHT will start. 4) "Inside" FLIGHT login to your Live account, the REDEM CODE option is avaliable, so click on it, follow the instructions and paste the redemption code there... The Download and install process for your DLC will start and eventualy end with the DLC properly installed/available. 5) From there on the DLC will be listed in your Games For Windows account. By the way Steam support also forwarded this important link: https://microsoftfli...troubleshooting Hope this helps :-) Hope that helps. Ramón. Time, is the one thing no one can buy.
April 16, 201214 yr Hi Dewey, download Stem client, from inside the client search the game and start download. Now in the dialog you can obtain the key. You can now cancel steam download and redeem your code there: https://live.xbox.com/redeemtoken Now just open flight and look for the new contents, should be work :) Antonello M.
