April 18, 201214 yr Hello, thank God for the SP1. It definitely improves on the pleasure to fly, and thank you to those who submitted temporary solutions, and those who submitted solutions to issues that still have not been corrected. On my first flight today, I noticed two things on approach (KSEA) 1) flew beginning of approach on AP with APPR knob in, got the localiser OK but no G/S 2) As I turned off the AP, to go onto manua,l at about 7mi from touch down the plane became totally unstable, entered uncontrollable yaw and pitch and I could not control the ensuing pitch up even by pushing hard on the wheel. Had to give up before landing to avoid crashing. Any ideas why so, please ? April 18, 201214 yr The only GS is on the right side of the EADI. Did you look there, or is maybe MIA now? Check and make sure your NAV/GPS selector on the Annunciator Panel is set for VOR/LOC (maybe just says VOR, but in any case it should NOT read GPS). Switch it from the Annunciator Panel, not the GNS400. Make sure you have your Prop Sync (says "Prop Syn" on the panel) turned OFF for approach. Especially if you are using the throttle quadrant with separate throttles, you can get one engine chasing the other that will lead to what you describe here. If you did look at the EADI for the GS and you were tuned to the right frequency and you had your mode switch to VOR, AND your Prop Sync was in the OFF (down) position, then all I can say is, "oh oh". Hope that helps.
