Fs9 Cruising Horizon

Featured Replies

Dear Simmers

I'm having difficulties in having the right mix with REX about the horizon at cruising level.

These pics are taken at FL 380. As you can see it's not very clear and I used to fly in better conditions however after a clean installation of fs and by changing the sky textures in REX it didn't help me, as whatever I chose the sky horizon is always the same.

Also attached you will see my AS Evo visibility settings

Any help?

Thanks

Justin

At fl380 you are looking down and through a lot of atmosphere. Rarely will you be able to see a clear and crisp horizon. Early morning or late evening possibly. That's the real world. And, you should be concentrating on your flying skills not whether you can see the rwy from 80nm!!!

FS9 horizons were never very well done,, period. Most use a program such as FSUIPC visibility distance to hind them because they look so unrealistic.
