April 22, 201214 yr I decided to start a flight this morning from Cairo to Oman using the NGX and FSrealWX. I checked all the weather before loading up the sim and conditions were reported as being clear and CAVOK on weather sites and aviation weather sites. After loading up the sim and starting FSrealWX I was surprised to find almost broken clouds hovering over the Egyptian capital. Although I am aware these clouds could have been above 5000ft and conditions could still qualify as CAVOK it didn't seem entirely feasible. I have attached a screenshot to illustrate the conditions and was wondering what sort of settigns you guys are using in FSrealWX as I have noticed that I have not had a single flight with clear skies despite flying in reported clear skies all over the world. Any help with the best settings and why I am always seeing clouds would be very much appreciated. I am using the latest version released today and I did encounter a crash which said "FS Weather Add-On has Crashed" does anybody else get this message at all?
