my question is, how to set the IRS position correctly? i mean i have seen a video on youtube, that a real NG pilot showd that he set the GPS L position, but now in this video i saw that he is making a position.

so i am a little bit confused, how should i set the IRS position? thanks.

To set the IRS position, you can use the GPS or gate coordinates, or whatever you feel is most accurate. I think most of the time people just grab me of the GPS coordinates and paste that in to the current position for the IRS.
