April 24, 201214 yr I have been noting that my Saitek X52 PRO (two months old) drops off line from time-to-time regardless of which USB port I plug it into. Please see my signature for my hardware setup. Anyone else experiencing this anomaly? Don Illigitimi non-carbrundum
April 24, 201214 yr Don It may be a "power issue" In Win 7 you need to set up the power options very carefully making sure that the power is always on, and that on "idle" you do not switch off the USB Ports and Hubs. Under Power options choose 'High Performance' then go to 'change advance power settings choose USB settings and make sure that the USB suspend setting is disabled. Also in Device Manager check every USB Hub etc and under Power options ensure that 'Allow the computer to turn off this device" is unticked. If that doesn't work then it could be hardware related. Regards PeterH Thanks for the help Peter. I will make the changes and monitor my system for operation. I had two USB Root Hubs that were ticked, so I unticked them.... Don Illigitimi non-carbrundum
