What is this doing?

Featured Replies

Okay, if you change/add this certain line to FS9.cfg you will get more info about FPS on your screen. We all know now what that information between the brackets means, but what is that V: *.*% doing? All I know is that the higher the number gets, more noise is coming from my videocard. And it's a ticking sound not coming from the coolers. Thanks for any feedback,-MichelVideocard in use: Asus V9980 Ultra (FX5950)

I thing it is Variance, i.e., the difference in change from one reading to the next for frame rate.W. Sieffert

MichelSorry... not all of us know! What DO the numbers between the brackets mean? In your screenshot the numbers are [008.1 028.7 039.8].Also there are angle brackets <001.0> (I think!) showing immediatly after the bracketed numbers. What do these refer to?Chris
