April 28, 201214 yr The last time I tried designing my own scenery was with the Aircraft & Scenery Designer for MSFS 4.0, but now I feel inspired to try something with XPX. I'm just feeling a bit overwhelmed, and unsure where to begin. Can anyone suggest a sort of "X-Plane Scenery Design for Dummies" to get my feet wet? Thanks! EDIT- Oh jeez. I just noticed I posted in the wrong forum. Self reported for transfer to the right place. Doh! "No matter how eloquent you are or how solidly and firm you've built your case, you will never win in an argument with an idiot, for he is too stupid to recognize his own defeat." ~Anonymous.

April 29, 201214 yr Author Is this of any help? http://wiki.x-plane....ery_Development Aaron G. Thanks Aaron. I did have a look at that before, but seeing that it's X-Plane 8 era made me think it was outdated. Do the same principles and techniques apply to XP10? As far as I know there isn't much difference between X-Plane 8 and 10 scenery development apart from newer tool versions and better graphics. Aaron G. PMDG Boeing 737NGX Captain
April 29, 201214 yr Author Ah! Good to know. Guess I'm gonna burn the midnight oil. I just put a pork butt on the smoker that I've got to babysit for a couple of hours anyway. ;) "No matter how eloquent you are or how solidly and firm you've built your case, you will never win in an argument with an idiot, for he is too stupid to recognize his own defeat." ~Anonymous.
