When I post something and use the image tags to post images that are on another site or server, the images show up as images in my text. Sometimes I would like to be able to edit the text and see those links as text instead of seeing the actual images!

 

Is there a way or setting or trick to edit my posts and see all the image links as text...?

Short answer: No.

 

Long answer: The only way I could think of is to put them within a Code box, but then the person would have to copy and paste the link to his/her browser URL box. I believe the forum software automatically generates this no matter what.
